The British Horse Society (BHS) Register of Instructors and Register of Grooms have been setup to benefit both qualified instructors and grooms and the general public. There is an increasing number of unqualified people who are professing to hold BHS qualifications and the publication of these registers will help the general public seeking an instructor or groom to find one with guaranteed qualifications.
By publishing the information it will also highlight those instructors and grooms who have strived to complete and attain their qualifications and are proud of their achievements, as are the BHS. Sue is a holder of the British Horse Society Assistant Instructors Certificate (BHSAI). The BHSAI certificate is awarded to candidates who have successfully achieved the BHS Horse Knowledge, Care and Riding Stage 3, the Preliminary Teacher’s Certificate and have submitted a fully completed Coaching Portfolio or have logged 500 hours teaching.
