‘Basic
Massage and Stretching Techniques for the Horse Lover’ is
an exciting new one-day course designed to teach you a
basic routine to use with your own horse. Held in Witney,
Oxfordshire, at a relaxed and friendly yard with beautiful
surroundings, you will learn during the morning about the
muscles of the horse, the theory behind stretching, and
some of the moves that make massage such a beneficial form
of bodywork. The afternoon gives you the chance to put into
practice what you have learnt during the morning, with
support and encouragement from your tutors. By the end of
the day you will feel confident to take this routine home
to work with your own horse, enabling you to regularly
offer him the benefits of massage.
A qualified Physiotherapist (human) and Equine Body Worker
(Equine Massage), Sue realises that many equine behavioural
issues are caused by pain. As part of her journey to offer
the most holistic assessment for you and your horse, she is
continually improving her knowledge through further
training.
